Recently I have realised that Christ himself was MONK! He knew! Christ knew!
Every other ‘prophet’/religious leader got mixed up with the ladies - be it Adam, Buddha, Mohamed, Lao Tzu, Moses, David, Solomon, Sampson, Moses, Daniel, Noah, Guru Nanak, Bahāʾ Allāh etc. In many, probably all cases, their involvement with the ladies was their undoing. In the case of John the Baptist, his beheading was a result of Herod Antipas’s lust for and misunderstanding of women. It is clear Christ was in an entirely different league - he knew the truth of the female nature. Christ knew one should not get entangled with them. In Matthew (19:12) Christ said if you can be a ‘eunuch’ (monk) then this is the best way to be.
Jesus could have had any woman on this earth. Christ was Sigma, was great at telling stories, and had the best ‘game’ in the history of the world that included doing miracles, no less! Despite being in the top .00000001% of all men of all time he never once got involved...
